Professor Victor Callan is Professor of Management, and Business School Research Director at the University of Queensland Business School. Professor Callan studies change management, stress and coping with change, management and leadership development, and identity work through both qualitative and more quantitative studies. He also consults to business on these same topics. He is currently involved in two ARC Linkage grants investigating socialization of new employees and medical networks. He has held 16 ARC grants, and has completed research with some of Australia's largest public and private sector companies on aspects of change management, employee stress and well-being, and organisational communication. In 2010-2011, he served on the Cluster 4 Committee (Social, Behavioural and Economics Sciences) for the Evaluation of Research for Australia (ERA) process. His recent A* publications are found in Journal of Vocational Behaviour, Journal of Management, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
