Professor Roy MacLeod writes in the history of science, technology and medicine; in research policy and science policy studies. He has also written extensively in military history, nuclear history, and on the history of museums, universities, and other cultural institutions. He has served as a consultant for several national and international organizations, including UNESCO, the OECD, the UNO, the ARC, DEETYA, the Antarctic Division, ORSTOM (Paris) and Australian Defence Industries.
