This workshop aims to undertake a critical analysis of Australian climate change diplomacy, the relationship of the AP6 to the Kyoto Protocol and other international initiatives responding to climate change, such as the 27th Session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, in Valencia(12-17 Nov).

Climate change is one of the most significant issues on the international agenda. In particular, the workshop will seek to answer the question as to whether any existing governance approaches to climate change are adequate to the task. Climate change is a quintessentially inter-disciplinary issue and so the workshop will draw on expertise in science, law, ethics, and policy.
