Stimulated by Quantum physics in the 1920s the first researchers began investigating the energetic aspect of the human body. American scientists Abrams, Rife and Reich are best-known pioneers in the field. In the 1930s Russian scientist A. Gurwitch discovered that certain characteristics of living organisms could be transmitted electronically. Numerous research institutes have been working on these phenomena since then in Russia, Germany, USA, Spain, France and Japan.
The practical application of this idea was found when in the 1960-80 several teams of German scientists established that electronic resistance of Chinese acupuncture points is related to a person’s health. From this research, Dr. Voll developed electro-puncture therapy and diagnostics. A number of different diagnostic and treatment approaches and devices have been developed based on this idea worldwide, including Biophotonic, MORA, CoRe-Systems, QuintSystems, BICOM and VEGA.
BIT has been broadly used in Europe, Russia and Japan for diagnosing and treating many different conditions for the last 30 years. Different countries have developed the idea, best known examples include:
· Biophysical Information Therapy (BIT)
BIT is especially popular in Germany, with BIT clinics making up 25% of all medical clinics, where the popular name for it is "Energy Medecine".
