Professor Dennis Altman is Professor of Politics, School of Social Sciences, La Trobe University. His major fields of expertise are the politics of sexuality and HIV/AIDS, and contemporary American politics. His recent research has involved questions of globalisation, and its impact upon sexuality and human rights.
